Introducing Parallell, a Toronto-based DJ and producer whose dynamic journey began in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia. Born in 1997, Parallell's early exploration of music saw him diving into guitar, with a passion for Metal and Heavy music defining his formative years. Drawn to the energy of electronic music through the influence of Skrillex, his artistic evolution unfolded as he immersed himself in production as a professional career, initially shaped by the sounds of Pleasurekraft and Adam Beyer. This evolved into a unique style of immersive minimal music.
Parallell’s unique style blends deep, groove-laden soundscapes with the precision and creativity of minimal house. As a co-founder of Bacata Collective based in the city of Toronto, he has become a driving force in the city’s underground scene, captivating audiences with performances that weave together raw energy and refined artistry.
With releases on esteemed labels such as Hoyostro (Ukraine) and Conceptual (Moldova), and appearances at renowned festivals including the BPM Costa Rica, and Promise Cherry in Toronto, Parallell has shared stages with both local and international icons.
